Ingredients

4 ounces blue cheese

3/4 cup salad oil

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup cider or wine vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 clove garlic, finely minced

3 drops liquid hot sauce

Preparation

Soften blue cheese at room temperature. Place in a small mixing bowl. With mixer at low speed, gradually add 1/4 cup salad oil, beating until smooth. Add remaining salad oil and all other ingredients, one at a time. Beat well after each addition until thoroughly combined. Chill.
