Ingredients

4 squares bitter chocolate

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup butter

2 cups sugar

1 3/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup sour cream

2 eggs

1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Melt chocolate and water and butter in double boiler. Add sugar, flour, salt & baking soda at once. Mix well. Add sour cream & eggs. Add vanilla. Bake in a greased & floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. (Test cake - it may need more time.)
