Ingredients
1 c butter
2 c sugar
3 lg. eggs well beaten
1/2 t salt
4 c flour
1 c sour cream
1 t baking soda
2 t baking powder
1 t nutmeg
2 T vanilla
Preparation
Cream butter, sugar. Add eggs then the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and chill overnight. Roll out on a floured board. (May need to add more flour if it’s too sticky.) ROll to 1/4 -1/2 " thick. Bake at 350, 10-12 minutes and cool on racks. Frosting: 2 lb of powdered sugar 1/2 stick butter Add sour cream to spreading consistency. Add 3/4 t salt, 2 t vanilla, 1/4 t rum, 1/4 t almond, 1/4 t lemon (extracts)
