Ingredients

2 sticks salted butter at room temp

3 cups sugar

6 large eggs, separated

3 cups all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon soda

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

Preparation

~Preheat over to 350 degrees ~Grease and flour a tube pan (I believe a bundt pan would also work) ~Cream butter and sugar ~Add egg yokes, beating well after each addition ~Add soda to sour cream and stir up ~Add flour and sour cream to butter and sugar, alternating and blending well after each addition ~Add flavorings ~Beat egg whites till stiff ~Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites ~Pour into well-greased, lightly floured tube pan ~Bake for 90 minutes in a 350 degree oven
