Ingredients

CAKE

1 1/2 C flour

1 1/2 C sugar

1/2 C butter (room temperature)

1/2 C sour cream

3 eggs

pinch of baking soda

ICING

2 1/2 tsp shortening

2 1/2 tsp butter

1/8 tsp vanilla

1/3 C + 1 tbs confectioners sugar

1/2 tsp milk

Preparation

  1. cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. add sour cream and eggs.
  3. add flour and baking soda.
  4. pour mixture into a greased pan of choice.
  5. bake at 350F for 75 minutes, stick a toothpick in the middle to make sure it’s done.
