Ingredients

Cake

1 cup sourdough starter

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 teas baking powder

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup chopped pecans

2/3 cup veg oil

Topping-

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup melted butter

3 teas cinnamon

3 teas flour

Preparation

combine cake ingredients and pour into an 13x9x2 pan sprayed with cooking spray. In a separate bowl, combine topping ingredients and swirl gently into cake batter. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes (less if convection).

Note: while warm, you may choose to top with a glaze of 1 c conf sugar mixed with 2 tablespoons milk or water plus a dab of vanilla.
